GSK re-introduces typhoid-containing vaccines

News for health professionals on typhoid-containing vaccine availability

In 2011 GSK suspended production of Typherix (Typhoid, Polysaccharide vaccine) and Hepatyrix  (Hepatitis A (inactivated) due to manufacturing capacity constraints. These vaccines are now available again.

All queries relating to the supply of these products should be directed to GlaxoSmithKline.

Information about alternative hepatitis A and typhoid vaccine products, available from other manufacturers, is available from the electronic Medicines Compendium (eMC).
