During yellow fever outbreaks, travellers and health professionals are reminded that countries may change their yellow fever certificate requirements at short notice.

We have recently found notices regarding changes to the certificate requirements for Panama and Nicaragua in response to the yellow fever outbreak in Brazil. This information may not be reflected in the World Health Organization (WHO) publication International Travel and Health. Travellers and Health Professionals should check for updates and alerts on our Latest News section and Country Information pages.
