Tuberculosis Green Book updated chapter

The tuberculosis chapter in the Green Book (Immunisation against infectious disease) has been published Tuberculosis Green Book updated chapter

Public Health England has published updated information and guidance on tuberculosis in the Green Book (Immunisation against infectious disease: Tuberculosis. Chapter 32).

This revised chapter includes :

  • information of the licensed BCG vaccine available in the UK
  • indications for BCG vaccine for those travelling for more than three months to a country where the annual incidence of TB is 40/100,000 or greater and/or where the risk of Multi Drug Resistant-TB (MDR-TB) is high
