Three cases of confirmed meningococcal meningitis have been reported in scouts from the north of Scotland who recently attended the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan 2015. The UK has alerted other European countries and further investigations are currently ongoing. Health Protection Scotland has written to all scouts from the UK and British Isles Territories who attended the Jamboree. Read more here
