As of 5 August 2018, a total of 19,961 suspected cases including 293 deaths have been reported from 18 States since the beginning of 2018. In the week ending 5 August 2018 a total of 377 suspected cases (12 deaths) were reported from five states Zamfara, Katsina, Kano, Ebonyi and Sokoto. Some of the cases have been confirmed for Vibrio cholerae.
