In addition, suspected cases have been reported in Abia, Anambra, Borno, Edo, Enugu, Kebbi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Oyo, and Plateau.

Of seventeen samples sent to the Pasteur Institute, Senegal, three cases (two from Kogi and one from Kwara) have been confirmed; five specimens have tested negative and nine results are pending.
