As of 11 February 2019, a total of 36 yellow fever cases, including eight deaths, have now been reported between December 2018 and January 2019.

Between December 2018 and 25 January 2019, a total of 12 confirmed human cases, including 6 deaths, have been reported in the southern part of São Paulo State. Among these confirmed cases, 83% are rural workers. Paraná State have also reported yellow fever in dead monkeys in Antonina, on the Paraná coast. In Brazil, the period between December and May has historically been recognised as having the highest transmission of yellow fever. PAHO consider that these cases reported during the current 2018-2019 seasonal period, could mark the beginning of a third cycle and a progression of the outbreak towards the Southeast and South regions of the country.

As of 8 October 2018, it was confirmed that between 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018, there were 1,376 confirmed cases of yellow fever in the country and 483 deaths.
08 May 2018 Brazil
As of 5 May 2018, a total of 39 additional confirmed cases and 30 deaths have been reported. Since July 2017 the Ministry of Health in Brazil has reported 1257 confirmed human cases of yellow fever, including 394 deaths.

As of 12 April 2018, a total of 1,127 cases and 331 deaths were reported between 1 July 2017 and 10 April 2018.

As of 20 March 2018, a total of 920 confirmed human yellow fever cases, including 300 deaths, were reported between 1 July 2017 and 13 March 2018. This is higher than case numbers reported for the same period of the previous year. Between 20 February 2018 and 13 March 2018, a total of 375 confirmed cases, including 136 deaths were reported.
