UK Adaptation of an Australian Japanese Encephalitis Decision Aid
The National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC) is inviting UK community members and healthcare professionals to take part in a study that aims to adapt a decision aid to help UK travellers make informed choices about Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccination.
What's involved?
You can choose to participate in one or more components:
- Co-design (via focus groups): a focus group where you are invited to share your views and experiences to help design a resource that supports UK travellers decide whether Japanese encephalitis vaccine is right for them. Held for approximately 2hrs online at [date TBC]. Gift voucher for focus group participants: £50
- User-testing: reviewing a prototype version of the resource and completing a short (~10 minute) online survey. You may also be invited to an interview to provide detailed feedback on the prototype decision aid. Expected to last between 30-60mins. Held via Zoom at a mutually agreed up on time. Gift voucher for interview participants: £25
Who can participate?
- Community members: 18+ years, have travelled overseas or plan to travel soon
- Healthcare professionals: Provide care or advice to overseas travellers
