Yellow fever Green Book chapter updated

The yellow fever chapter contraindications section in the Green Book (Immunisation against infectious disease) has been updated Yellow fever Green Book chapter updated

Public Health England has published updated information and guidance in the Green Book (Immunisation against infectious disease: Yellow fever. Chapter 35).

This revised chapter updates the vaccine contraindications section (page 6) with new wording on thymectomy and incidental thymectomy. 

Health professionals are reminded of the importance of taking a detailed medical history of past and present health issues as part of the risk assessment during a travel health consultation.
