Mpox in United Kingdom ex Uganda
On 30 January 2025, the UK Health Security Agency reported one new case of clade Ib mpox, in a returned traveller who recently visited Uganda. This is the eighth confirmed clade Ib mpox case in the UK since October 2024. Risk to the UK population remains low. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on mpox.
