Mpox in DRC

As of 22 June 2025, a total of 26,431 confirmed mpox cases and 49 confirmed deaths have been reported in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) since January 2024. Mpox clades Ia and Ib have been reported. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on mpox.
