Mpox in Tanzania

As of 22 June 2025, a total of 64 confirmed mpox clade Ib cases and no deaths have been reported in Tanzania in 2025. Community transmission of clade Ib mpox has been reported. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on mpox.
