Dengue in Italy

As of 15 July 2025, Italian health authorities have reported the first locally acquired case of dengue of the year. This case was reported in the Emilia Romagna region. A further 82 imported cases of the disease have been recorded in a number of regions. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on dengue.
