Dengue in Samoa
As of 13 July 2025, a total of 1,276 confirmed dengue cases, with two associated deaths, have been reported in Samoa since the outbreak began in April 2025. The majority of cases are from Upolu Island. Of the 20 cases with confirmed serotypes, 85% are dengue virus type 1 (DENV-1) and 15% are dengue virus type 2 (DENV2).
