Lassa fever in Nigeria

Between 1 January and 13 July 2025, a total of 6,520 suspected Lassa fever cases (811 confirmed and 152 deaths) have been reported. Cases have been reported from 21 states this year, 89 percent of confirmed cases are from Ondo, Taraba, Bauchi, Edo, and Ebonyi states.
