Chikungunya in Hong Kong

As of 11 September 2025, a total of 16 confirmed imported chikungunya cases have been reported in Hong Kong. From 2016 to 2019, Hong Kong recorded between one and 11 imported cases annually. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on chikungunya.
