West Nile virus in France

As of 15 September 2025, 32 locally acquired cases of West Nile virus were reported in France. Cases have been identified from 10 departments in the following regions: Provence Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Occitanie, and for the first time Île-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
