Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever in Afghanistan

As of 8 November 2025, a total of 1,438 suspected cases of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF) with 99 deaths, have been reported in Afghanistan in 2025. The highest cumulative incidence of suspected CCHF cases have been reported from Kabul, followed by Kapisa, Kunduz, Balkh, and Kandahar.
