Ebola disease in DRC
As of 6 September 2026, a total of 7,200 confirmed Ebola disease (Bundibugyo virus) cases and 3,475 confirmed deaths have now been reported across seven provinces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Tshopo, Haut-Uele, Bas-Uele and South Ubangi.
