As of 14 September 2024, a total of 35 cases of locally acquired dengue have been reported in Florida since the start of the year. Most of the cases (24) were DENV-3, 4 cases were DENV-1 and for the remaining 4 cases, the serogroup is unknown.

As of 3 August 2024, a total of 18 cases of locally acquired dengue have been reported in Florida for 2024. 11 cases have been confirmed as DENV-3 virus, four cases have been confirmed as DENV-1 virus, with three cases due to an unknown dengue serotype.
