CVDPV2 in Palestinian Territories
As of 28 August 2024, a ciruclating vaccine-derived polio virus type 2 (cVDPV2) case was reported in the Gaza Strip. There have been six cVDPV2-positive environmental samples reported in Gaza this year.

CVDPV2 in Palestinian Territories
As of 19 July 2024, circulating variant type 2 poliovirus (cVDPV2) has been detected in environmental samples in this country. Virus was isolated from six environmental (sewage) samples, collected from two different collection sites within Gaza.
