Yellow fever in Colombia

As of 31 July 2025, a total of 125 confirmed yellow fever cases, and 53 deaths, have now been reported in Colombia. The majority of cases have been reported in Tolima Department with 105 cases and 38 deaths. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on yellow fever.

Yellow fever in Angola

On 6 July 2025, the Angola Ministry of Health reported 7 confirmed yellow fever cases to the World Health Organization. The cases were confirmed from samples collected through routine surveillance between July 2024 and February 2025. Between 30 November and 6 December 2024, nine new suspected cases of yellow fever were reported from three regions in the Central African Republic. Between 30 November and 6 December 2024, five new suspected cases of yellow fever were reported from two regions in Gabon. Since the beginning of 2024, a cumulative case count of 146 cases (nine were confirmed) and no deaths have been reported from all 10 regions in Gabon. Yellow fever in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Peru

On 9 November 2024, the Pan American Health Organization reported 50 confirmed cases of yellow fever, including 24 deaths since the start of 2024. Cases have been reported in the Plurinational State of Bolivia (8 cases, including 4 deaths), Brazil (3 cases, including 2 deaths), Colombia (17 cases, including 9 deaths), Guyana (3 cases), and Peru (19 cases, including 9 deaths).
