Mpox in Kenya

As of 17 October 2025, three confirmed cases of clade I mpox have been reported from Southern California. These cases have no recent travel history or known contact with one another indicating there is some community transmission amongst the MSM population in California. Mpox in Turkey
As of 28 August 2025, a total of three cases of clade Ib mpox have been reported in Turkey since the beginning of 2025. The most recently detected case, diagnosed in late July 2025, reported a history of travel to the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. On 4 May 2025, India retrospectively reported nine cases of mpox due to clade Ib mpox, detected between December 2024 and March 2025. This brings the country's total to 10 cases.
